French Hospital Postpones Medical Procedures Post Cyberattack

The Simone Veil Hospital in Cannes, with over 2,000 employees and 800 beds, had to postpone non-urgent procedures and consultations. They had to take their systems offline, but Emergency services continued to operate. Departments such as internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics, geriatrics, pediatrics, psychiatry, home hospitalization, and rehabilitation also worked. The hospital highlighted ongoing technical investigations to determine when normal operations can resume.
