Apple issued security alerts to iPhone users in 92 countries, warning of a remote spyware attack linked to mercenary groups. These attacks are notable for their rarity, sophistication, and the significant financial resources they involve. Ongoing and widespread nature of these attacks could allow attackers to access sensitive data. Also, they could remotely control the device’s camera and microphone.
