French government agencies faced cyberattacks, which resemble distributed-denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks, starting Sunday night, according to the prime minister. DDoS attacks flood servers with junk requests, which prevent access to network resources. Such attacks are linked to state-sponsored groups and don’t provide lasting disruption or enable network penetration. Such attacks are associated with some groups which support Russia in the conflict with Ukraine.
