Schneider Electric faces a ransomware attack affecting its Sustainability Business division. It includes the Resource Advisor software tracking energy consumption. Russian group Cactus claimed responsibility for encrypting systems and stealing data. The company, with 34 billion euros in revenues last year, states that its sustainability division is separate, and the breach doesn’t impact the rest of the business.
